Leif started his career as a planning and cost engineer in Saga Petroleum (Now part of Equinor) in 1984 before working in Bjørge Group and Informasjonskontroll. He then spent 16 years in the Orkla group including six years in Corporate Development managing strategy and M&A projects, three years in Denofa as sales and marketing director, three years in Idun Industri as sales and marketing director and three years at Orkla Food Ingredients as business development director. Leif founded Synergos in 2009. He holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU and an MBA from Henley Business School, London.

Nora has 20 years’ experience working with strategy definition, implementation, IT and digitalization, M&A and business development. Her career has given her significant international exposure working in global companies (McKinsey, Alpharma, Xellia, Wallenius Wilhelmsen) and living abroad for several periods both in Europe and US. Nora holds a Master of Science/ Engineering degree from INSA Toulouse in France. She also has an Executive MBA from London Business School with distinction.

Ove has more than 25 years of experience from Corporate Finance and M&A. Ove started his career within Corporate Finance as CF analyst at R.S. Platou Securities, and continued as CF Advisor at Handelsbanken Markets, Partner CF Advisor in Fondsfinans and Senior Advisor CF in DNB Markets. Since 2013 Ove has worked with private M&A. First in Weibull where he started as Senior M&A Advisor before he became CEO in 2014. He was CEO/Partner in SJ Corporate for 5 years, before he joined as Partner in Synergos in 2023.
Anders Aasheim

Anders has been working in mergers and acquisitions for nearly 25 years, with a primary focus on the sale of companies within the SME segment. He has extensive experience with various start-ups, assisting them in capital raising efforts. Anders has worked in M&A both as an advisor and as an in-house expert within major Norwegian corporations. This has provided him with broad experience across different types of transactions and stakeholders. Anders holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
Gjermund Furru

Gjermund , bringing valuable experience from Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund. During 6 years at NBIM, Gjermund gained broad experience through rotations across departments, most recently focusing on analysing equity and fixed income investments in the Investment Risk department. This background has provided him with a strong foundation in risk analysis and investment strategy. Gjermund also has tech experience from the consulting firm BearingPoint, where he worked with data analytics and strategy, primarily within the finance and media sectors
Anton Martin Ringøen

Anton is a graduate of the Norwegian Business School BI, holding a Master of Science in Finance. He also obtained a bachelor’s degree from BI. Prior to joining our team, Anton has worked at Kommunalbanken AS and Wohninvest GMBH, where he has gained valuable knowledge and skills.

Petter Eiken

Petter has almost 40 years of experience from the construction industry. He has been CEO of Rom Eiendom AS and Skanska Norge. He has also excecutive Vice President in Veidekke ASA and Skanska AB. Petter also has exstensive experience as board member for several private and public companies within the construction industry.
Knut Hegge
Industry specialist – Construction
Knut started his career as a structional engineer for Olav Olsen in 1985. After 10 years in Olav Olsen, he then went on as the Department Manager at Polygon for 3 years. For the next 20 years he CEO for OEC Gruppen who was acquired by Metier and became OEC Metier. In 2019 Knut started his own Project management and advisory company called Magna Prosjekt. Knut earned his MSc in Civil Engineering at NTNU and has a Business degree from BI Oslo.
Lars Næss

Lars has over 40 years of experience from the construction industry. He has been Director of professional sales and wholesale at Løvenskiold Vækerø. He spent over 20 years at Icopal where he served as CEO, Director of Marketing, and other management positions. He currently has his own consultancy business as well as being active on the board for several companies within the construction industry.
Jan Stensrud
Industry specialist – Umbilicals & Subsea
Jan started his career in Nexans in 1989 spending more than 17 years in the company, latest as a marketing & sales director and member of Business Group Management seated in France. In 2006 he was a co-founder and managing director of Ingenium, an offshore engineering and services contractor, which was sold to Technip in 2013. He was later engaged as an independent consultant working as a business advisor within the oil & gas and subsea high voltage cable market before working on a permanent basis for Statnett since 2015. Jan holds an MSc in Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture from NTNU.
Bjørn Fuglaas
Industry specialist- Pharmaceutical industry/Life science
Bjørn has held several management positions in Nycomed and in General Electric, including a CEO position in GE Healthcare Norway (pharmaceutical unit). Bjørn has served on the Board in a variety of companies including pharmaceutical businesses. He earned his MSc in Microbiology at the University of Oslo and the University of Gothenburg. Bjørn has been running his own consultancy business since 2018 and is currently a Partner in Gevirgroup AS.
Frode Meringdal
Industry specialist – Sensor technology & Physics
Frode started his career in R&D for companies like Aanderaa Instruments, Autodisplay AS and SINTEF. He co-founded Presens AS in 1996, a sensor technology company for subsea wells. In 2012, Presens was acquired by General Electric and he continued working for GE as a Business Manager until 2015. Frode has since been running his own investment company. He earned his MSc degree from NTNU (Physics) then his MBA from Norwegian School of Management (BI).
